Introduction: Antoine de Saint-Exupéry has written a fine and fantastic book, "The Little Prince".
In this book, the little prince, a child traveller from another planet, visits the earth, where he encounters a lot of strange people (the adults). A remarkable exception is a fox who introduces the little prince to the insights of friendship or -speaking more generally- to the insights of relationship:
"...But if you tame me, we shall need one other. To me, you will be unique. And I shall be unique to you..."
I can think of no other words that describe the uniqueness of a relationship in a more beautiful way.
Like this red house is unique among all the white ones, a person who we have a relationship with, is unique among all the other people in the world.
The picture was taken in November 1990 in Heidenheim/Brenz, Germany.
